The posting

Do you enjoy taking ownership, solving complex finance questions and finding smarter ways of working? Join Truvio as our Accounts Payable Specialist and help shape efficient, reliable AP processes across our international business.

About the role As our AP Specialist, you will take ownership of the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process, from purchase orders and supplier information to invoice processing, payments and period-end accounting. You will combine hands-on finance work with the opportunity to improve how we work across the organisation.

You will be a go-to person for complex AP questions, working closely with Finance, Procurement, People & Culture and colleagues across the business. Alongside keeping daily operations running smoothly, you will strengthen financial controls, support accurate reporting and cash-flow planning, and drive automation and more consistent ways of working. You will report to the Director of Operational Finance.

What you will do

  • Manage complex supplier invoices and resolve questions relating to purchase orders, approvals, tax, currencies and accounting across legal entities.
  • Review payment proposals and coordinate timely, accurate payments, including urgent exceptions, within approval limits and banking controls.
  • Monitor payment issues, available discounts and supplier risks, and guide colleagues on expense claims and policy exceptions.
  • Be the escalation point for supplier queries and disputes, working with Procurement, Finance, Legal and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Maintain reliable supplier data and consistent verification practices, including secure checks of sensitive changes such as bank details.
  • Review AP and supplier reconciliations, resolve aged differences and investigate blocked invoices, debit balances and other exceptions.
  • Keep AP controls effective and documented, address control gaps and payment risks, and support external auditors as a key AP contact.
  • Coordinate AP month-end activities, including invoice cut-off, accruals and reporting, to ensure accurate accounts and timely closing.
  • Analyse AP balances, ageing and payment performance, explain significant movements and provide forecasts for cash-flow planning.
  • Drive improvements in AP quality, efficiency and service through automation, simpler processes and shared ways of working.
  • Help develop ERP, invoice, expense and payment systems, contributing business requirements and supporting design, testing and implementation.
  • Turn recurring issues into lasting improvements and keep AP procedures, controls and performance measures up to date.
  • Guide junior AP colleagues, review selected work and support onboarding, training and knowledge sharing across Finance.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Around 4–7 years of experience in accounts payable, purchase-to-pay, accounting or a related finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of AP accounting and financial controls, with hands-on experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals and cut-off, and an understanding of indirect tax and reporting requirements.
  • Strong ERP experience, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Finance and Operations, or a comparable platform.
  • Experience with accounts payable automation, system implementation, or process improvement.
  • Experience in a multinational, shared-services or global business-services environment is an advantage.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Who you are

You combine an analytical mindset with a practical, solution-oriented approach. You are comfortable taking ownership of complex questions, spotting risks and turning findings into improvements. You work independently while building trusted relationships across teams, entities and locations, and you communicate clearly—even when the topic is technical or the conversation needs careful handling. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping colleagues develop, and you bring integrity and care to confidential financial and supplier information.

Why Truvio?

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on finance with real influence over how AP develops. You will work with colleagues across an international business, contribute ideas and help make processes more efficient through automation and continuous improvement. Based in Stockholm with a hybrid working setup, you will be part of a culture shaped by our values: Take Ownership, Build Trust, Drive Innovation and Succeed Together.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
