…oder unser Vorschlag: In deiner Masterarbeit untersuchst du, wie wir Komplexität in unserer B2B-Fachsoftware verständlich machen. Zum Beispiel: Was wird durch gutes UI-Design selbsterklärend, wo braucht es Inline-Hilfe, wo Dokumentation? Und wie unterscheiden sich Fachsprache und mentale Modelle zwischen den Nutzern?

Die Ausgangslage: Mit dem Device Admin konfigurieren unsere Kunden ihre Sensorik, die mobile GridApp unterstützt den Einbau vor Ort und das SMIGHT IQ Cockpit visualisiert die Messwerte. Das Grundprinzip ist schnell verstanden, viele Profi-Funktionen wie Schwellwerte, Benachrichtigungen oder die Anbindung externer Sensoren und Leitstellen erfordern aber Fachwissen. Unsere Nutzer:innen arbeiten bei Verteilnetzbetreibern in sehr unterschiedlichen Rollen, etwa in der Netzplanung, der Montage, der Netzleitstelle oder der Projektleitung.

Du bringst selbst noch Ideen mit? Immer her damit! Gern startest du vorher als Werkstudent:in bei uns und lernst Produkte, Team und Kunden kennen.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Wir bieten dir die Möglichkeit, qualitative Verständnis- und Usability-Tests oder Interviews mit unseren Kunden durchzuführen. Ergänzend bieten sich auch Nutzertracking und In-App-Umfragen an.
  • Du leitest daraus eigenständig Empfehlungen ab, welche Erklärung auf welche Ebene gehört: Inline-Hilfe, Onboarding, Dokumentation oder Schulung.
  • Je nach Schwerpunkt können außerdem konkrete Hilfe-Patterns, eine Terminologie-Datenbank, ein UX-Writing-Leitfaden, Hilfe-Use-Cases für einzelne Features oder UI/UX-Verbesserungsempfehlungen entstehen.

Dein Profil

  • Du studierst im Master Kommunikation und Medienmanagement, Informationsdesign, Medieninformatik oder einen vergleichbaren Studiengang.
  • Du kennst qualitative Methoden der UX-Forschung und hast idealerweise erste Erfahrung mit Usability-Tests, UX Writing oder technischer Dokumentation.
  • Du gehst präzise mit Sprache um und sprichst sehr gutes Deutsch, da unsere Kunden und Oberflächen überwiegend deutschsprachig sind. Uneinheitlich verwendete Begriffe fallen dir sofort auf.
  • Du interessierst dich für Technik und unsere Fachbegriffe schrecken dich nicht ab. Programmierkenntnisse oder Vorwissen in Energietechnik brauchst du nicht zwingend.
  • Eigeninitiative und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise zeichnen dich aus. Du gehst offen und auf Augenhöhe auf Kolleg:innen und Kunden zu.
