Store Manager (Full-Time)

SPAR Kinsale (Pearse Street) is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational excellence, team leadership, and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the store
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer care standards
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop team members
  • Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve business targets
  • Manage stock control, merchandising, and waste reduction
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, employment, and consumer legislation
  • Manage cash handling procedures and store security
  • Maintain high operational and presentation standards throughout the store
  • Create and maintain a positive and productive working environment
  • 1-2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
  • Previous retail experience essential
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, HACCP, and relevant employment legislation
  • Good organisational, problem-solving, and computer skills
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
