The posting

Bookkeeper

Our client, a boutique investment firm based in Central London, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with expert knowledge of QuickBooks to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of the business.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, exceptionally detail-oriented and confident using QuickBooks independently, with the ability to hit the ground running and require minimal training on the system.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Handling billing, invoicing and collections, including following up on outstanding payments.
  • Carrying out regular bank and account reconciliations.
  • Preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Using Excel and Google Sheets to manage financial data and reporting.
  • Supporting the accounting and billing processes for a bridging finance business.
  • Ensuring all financial information is accurate, up to date and properly organised.

About You

  • Extensive hands-on experience using QuickBooks, with the ability to work independently from day one.
  • Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage financial records methodically.
  • Experience with invoicing, collections, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Confident using Excel, with Google Sheets experience beneficial.
  • Able to take ownership of responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
  • Available to start as soon as possible.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
