What You Will Get To Do:

Opportunity Identification & Process Analysis

  • Identify automation, AI and process optimisation opportunities across business operations.
  • Conduct detailed process analysis to understand current-state workflows, pain points, risks and inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews.
  • Quantify benefits, costs, risks and implementation considerations.
  • Build compelling business cases and recommendations for automation investment.
  • Maintain and prioritise automation opportunity pipelines.

Solution Design

  • Design end-to-end intelligent automation solutions combining traditional automation and AI capabilities.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including:Process Design Documents (PDDs) User Stories Process Maps Functional Requirements Acceptance Criteria Solution Recommendations
  • Define future-state operating models and process improvements.
  • Assess where automation is appropriate and where alternative solutions should be recommended.

Intelligent Automation & AI

  • Identify opportunities to leverage:Agentic AI Large Language Models (LLMs) Intelligent Document Processing OCR and data extraction technologies Workflow orchestration Process Mining Robotic Process Automation Conversational AI
  • Work alongside development teams to ensure solutions are designed for scalability, resilience and compliance.
  • Support AI governance and responsible AI implementation practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending practical applications within the business.

Delivery Support

  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams throughout design, build and implementation phases.
  • Validate delivered solutions against agreed requirements.
  • Support testing activities, including UAT planning and execution.
  • Assist with production deployments and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure solutions achieve agreed business outcomes and benefits.

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders across SS&C and client organisations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on automation and AI opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present recommendations, designs and business cases to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progression, risks and dependencies.

What You Will Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience

Analysis & Consulting

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Intelligent Automation Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering expertise.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical solutions.

Intelligent Automation

  • Experience working with intelligent automation technologies.
  • Understanding of RPA platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies application within an operational setting.
  • Exposure to Agentic AI concepts and workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Understanding of Intelligent Document Processing and OCR technologies.
  • Ability to identify and assess suitable automation opportunities.

Technical Knowledge

  • Process modelling and documentation experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, BPMN mapping solutions.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Understanding of APIs, structured data formats and systems integration concepts.
  • Awareness of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery approaches.

Communication & Leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability.
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable operating independently and managing multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within Wealth Management, Financial Services, Investments, Pensions or Platform Operations.
  • Understanding of UK financial services regulatory environments.
  • Experience with Process Mining technologies.
  • Blue Prism, UiPath or Business Analysis certifications.
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum or SAFe environments.
