Do you want to take on a central Business Controller role where finance, operations, and profitability meet – and where your analyses directly drive better decision-making and business performance? **Business controlling and operational insight

**As Business Controller at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions A/S, you will report directly to the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in strengthening the finance function, supporting better business decision-making, and contributing to the company's digital and analytical transformation, including BI, automation, and AI-based analysis.

Your core responsibilities will include business controlling, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting business and management decision-making. You thrive at the intersection of finance, data, and business. Leveraging data from SAP R/3, SQL databases, Excel, and, over time, SAP S/4HANA and BI tools, you identify the underlying drivers of performance deviations and transform complex analyses into clear commercial insights that enable informed decision-making.

Persistent, curious and business orientedWe expect you to bring at least 3 years of experience from a similar role, such as Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, or equivalent. Ideally, you come from a production or service business where finance is closely linked to orders, projects, operations, and profitability. You bring a solid finance foundation and a relevant degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a similar field, combined with a clear motivation to work close to operations and support the business through data analysis, insight, and decision support. You have hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, building Excel KPI models, and working with larger datasets, including data extracts and/or BI tools. Experience from an international group and cross-border collaboration would be a clear advantage.

On a personal level, you bring resilience, persistence, and a strong interest in solving real business challenges rather than working only in perfect systems or clean data environments. With a curious and business-oriented mindset, you are motivated by understanding how value is created in operations, not only in reporting. You take ownership of your agenda, drive initiatives forward in collaboration with stakeholders, and communicate financial topics in a clear and practical way.
