The Service Crew supports daily restaurant operations by efficiently serving customers, collaborating with kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety to ensure smooth restaurant functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform restaurant opening and closing duties to prepare and secure the premises
  • Prepare condiments and in-house beverages to support meal service
  • Accurately handle ordering and cashiering tasks, ensuring correct orders and payments
  • Assist customers with ordering by providing clear information and guidance
  • Use product knowledge to answer customer queries about ingredients and menu items
  • Make recommendations and up-sell menu items to enhance customer experience
  • Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, professional service to meet their needs
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, clearing tables, and wiping surfaces regularly
  • Follow all food and beverage safety, health, and hygiene policies and procedures consistently
  • Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards according to restaurant guidelines
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by managers and supervisors

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred to assist diverse customers
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage but not required
  • Relevant experience in the food and beverage industry is beneficial but not mandatory
