Job Description:

The opportunity

As an Employer Brand Specialist, you'll lead university relations across North America, support strategic talent attraction partnerships in the Raleigh area, and strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice.

You'll connect with students, university partners, and community organizations while bringing our employer brand to life through social media and employee storytelling. By sharing authentic employee experiences, you'll help future talent connect with our culture and career opportunities. You'll join a collaborative employer brand team that partners closely with Talent Acquisition and business leaders across the organization. Your work will directly support hiring goals and help build strong talent pipelines for the future. This role offers a unique blend of relationship building, content creation, and project management. You'll gain exposure to stakeholders across North America while developing expertise in employer branding, early career recruitment, and talent attraction.

Success in this role requires confidence in presenting to diverse audiences and building strong external partnerships. You'll represent Hitachi Energy in the community, on campus, and at talent attraction events while creating positive experiences for students, job seekers, and partners.

For your part, you’ll join a supportive global team that values learning, professional growth, and collaboration. This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with occasional travel to support university and local talent attraction engagements.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead university relations activities across the United States and Canada.
  • Develop campus engagement strategies and annual event plans.
  • Represent Hitachi Energy at career fairs and campus events.
  • Build relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support intern and early career hiring.
  • Track and report results from university recruiting activities.
  • Create social media content that highlights employee experiences.
  • Capture photo and video content for employer brand campaigns.
  • Maintain a content calendar and measure audience engagement.
  • Represent Hitachi Energy through strategic local talent partnerships.

Your background

  • 2-4 years of experience in employer branding, campus recruiting, marketing, or social media.
  • Experience creating digital content for social media platforms.
  • Basic photo and video capture and editing skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, events, or deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience using data and reporting tools to measure results and guide decisions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and Canada.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
