The Role: Excellence Behind the Desk

Sunset Ford, a 5th-generation family-owned dealership and multi-year Ford President’s Award winner, is looking for an elite Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager.

We don't just need a "paper-pusher." We need a closer, a compliance expert, and a relationship-builder who can thrive in a high-volume environment. You will be the final touchpoint for our customers, ensuring they drive away protected, financed, and fully satisfied with their Sunset Ford experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize Profitability: Expertly present a menu of F&I products (Extended Warranties, GAP, Maintenance Plans, etc.) while maintaining high penetration rates.
  • Lender Relations: Build and maintain aggressive relationships with local and national lenders to secure the best rates and fast approvals for all credit tiers.
  • Compliance King/Queen: Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. All paperwork must be "bulletproof" before it hits the accounting office.
  • Deal Flow Management: Manage Contracts-In-Transit (CIT) aggressively to ensure the dealership’s cash flow remains optimal.
  • Team Integration: Conduct regular training with the sales team to improve "turnover" quality and deal structure.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Proven Track Record: At least 2–3 years of experience as a high-performing Automotive F&I Manager.
  • The Numbers: Ability to demonstrate a high PVR (Per Vehicle Retail) and high product penetration consistently.
  • Tech Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of dealership DMS systems and menu-selling software.
  • Unshakeable Ethics: A commitment to transparency and integrity—the Sunset Ford way.
  • Communication: The ability to explain complex financial terms to customers clearly, persuasive, and professional.
