Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will oversee maintenance activities, support production goals, and help ensure industrial equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has maintenance leadership experience, a strong background in plastic injection molding, and hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment.

Location: Griffin, GA Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–3:00 PM Pay: Based on Experience Industry: Plastic Injection Molding / Steel Manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in a manufacturing environment
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities based on production needs
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial equipment
  • Support maintenance operations within a plastic injection molding and steel manufacturing environment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance issues
  • Help identify recurring equipment problems and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established procedures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and prioritization
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and production efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Strong experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and programs
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a production environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with production and maintenance teams
