Quality Containment Coordinator / Quality Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Containment Coordinator / Quality Supervisor to oversee quality and containment activities in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and technical background, experience with quality inspection, rework, containment, and dimensional measurement, and proven leadership experience.
The Quality Containment Coordinator will help coordinate daily operations, support site launches, ensure quality standards are met, and provide direction to small teams. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily quality inspection and containment activities
- Support mechanical rework and repair operations while ensuring work meets specifications
- Perform and/or oversee detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, inspectors, and team members to maintain workflow and resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, project documentation, and inspection results
- Assist with site launches, including setup, training, and process validation
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to small teams to meet project and quality goals
- Identify quality concerns and assist with problem-solving and corrective actions
- Help ensure containment and rework processes are completed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Remain flexible to support production demands, including overtime, weekends, and varying work hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a quality, inspection, rework, or containment environment
- Strong technical and mechanical background
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection and precision measurement
- Experience using tools such as:Calipers Micrometers Pin gauges Height gauges
- Mechanical and/or rework experience required
- Strong understanding of quality processes, inspection methods, and containment operations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also leading and supporting a small team
- Ability to travel as required
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying hours based on business needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Equivalent technical, manufacturing, quality, or leadership experience will be considered
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in quality control, quality inspection, containment, mechanical rework, or manufacturing, along with the leadership skills needed to coordinate daily activities and support customer requirements. Candidates who are comfortable working directly on the production floor and using precision measuring equipment are encouraged to apply.
