The posting

Onze klant maakt kunststofproducten die je waarschijnlijk vaker tegenkomt dan je denkt. Van toepassingen in automotive en HVAC tot verpakkingen, bouw en technische producten. Ze verwerken onder meer EPS, EPP en EPE tot matrijsgevormde producten, volledig afgestemd op de behoeften van hun klanten. Het is een financieel gezonde, familiale KMO met een lange geschiedenis en een ambitie voor de toekomst. Vanuit Beernem werken ze aan innovatieve oplossingen voor klanten in verschillende sectoren.

In aanloop naar de pensionering van de huidige verantwoordelijke, zoeken we een Productiemanager die techniek en mensen kan combineren.

Jobomschrijving

Van de eerste ploegoverdracht tot de laatste matrijswissel: jij houdt het overzicht over een productieomgeving met een 30-tal machines en ongeveer 800 matrijzen. Je bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer, schakelt met ploegbazen en techniekers en zorgt dat mensen en machines optimaal samenwerken.

Concreet ga je:

  • De productieplanning opmaken en bijsturen op basis van capaciteit, prioriteiten en levertermijnen.
  • Een team van circa 30 medewerkers begeleiden en aansturen, verdeeld over drie ploegen.
  • Machines en procesparameters mee optimaliseren bij nieuwe producten en matrijswissels.
  • Technische problemen, onderhoud en materiaalbehoeften efficiënt opvolgen.
  • Waken over kwaliteit, veiligheid en een doordachte inzet van grondstoffen.
  • Bestaande processen structureren, digitalisering ondersteunen en verbeteringen realiseren, onder meer bij de implementatie van Odoo.

Je beschikt over:

  • Een bachelor werk- en denkniveau en een stevige elektromechanische basis.
  • Minstens 3 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in een technische productieomgeving.
  • Ervaring met productieorganisatie, planning en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Een heldere communicatiestijl, maturiteit en het vermogen om mensen mee te krijgen.
  • Een praktische, zelfstandige aanpak en een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.
  • Ervaring met kunststofverwerking, matrijzen, Lean of 5S is een pluspunt.
