Deine Mission

Als IT System & Support Engineer sicherst Du den operativen Betrieb der internen IT-Landschaft eines auf Open Source und digitale Souveränität fokussierten Cloud-Providers. Du agierst als zentrale technische Schnittstelle zwischen der Infrastruktur und den Mitarbeitenden, um eine hochverfügbare und sichere Arbeitsumgebung zu gewährleisten. Durch effizienten IT-Support und die gezielte Automatisierung interner Prozesse befähigst Du unsere Fachabteilungen, den Hosting- und Cloud-Betrieb für unsere Kunden performant aufrechtzuerhalten.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Betrieb und Wartung der internen Infrastruktur inklusive Patch-Management, System-Health-Checks und Performance Monitoring unserer Cloud-Umgebungen (Kubernetes, OpenStack)
  • Bearbeitung standardisierter Service Requests, Verwaltung von Berechtigungskonzepten und Pflege der technischen Wissensdatenbank (Confluence, LDAP)
  • Mitarbeit an Engineering-Projekten zur Optimierung der internen IT-Prozesse durch Virtualisierung, Containerisierung und Konfigurationsmanagement (Puppet, Docker)
  • Sicherstellung zentraler Corporate-IT-Abläufe vom technischen On- und Offboarding über das Beschaffungsmanagement bis hin zum In-Office-Support am Berliner Standort
  • Behebung von Incidents über das Ticketsystem mittels strukturierter Fehleranalyse, Troubleshooting und direkter Kommunikation mit den Fachabteilungen
  • Verwaltung und regelmäßige Validierung der Backup- und Recovery-Prozesse zur Gewährleistung der internen Datenintegrität und Ausfallsicherheit

Das bringst Du mit

  • Fundierte Praxis in der Systemadministration und tiefe Expertise im operativen Betrieb von Linux-Systemen sowie gängigen Tools (Debian, Nginx, LDAP, Postfix)
  • Ausgeprägte Problemlösungskompetenz in der Fehleranalyse, im Patch-Management sowie in der Automatisierung von administrativen Routineaufgaben (Bash, Python)
  • Grundlegendes bis erweitertes technisches Verständnis für moderne Cloud-Ökosysteme, Container-Technologien und CI/CD-Pipelines (OpenStack, Kubernetes, GitLab, Docker-Compose)
  • Methodische Erfahrung mit Infrastructure-as-Code und Monitoring-Werkzeugen als vorteilhafte Ergänzung des technologischen Profils (Terraform, OpenTofu, YAML)
  • Ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise mit hohem Umsetzungsfokus gepaart mit ausgeprägter Teamfähigkeit, Serviceorientierung und der Bereitschaft, fachliche Verantwortung für IT-Assets zu übernehmen
  • Gute Deutsch und gute Englischkenntnisse, die Bereitschaft für einen wöchentlichen In-Office-Tag am Standort Berlin

Du übernimmst das technische Ownership für spezifische IT-Assets und treibst deren Optimierung eigenverantwortlich voran. Unser Team begleitet Dich durch aktives Mentoring intensiv bei der Einarbeitung in die SysEleven-spezifischen Infrastrukturen und bietet Dir den Gestaltungsspielraum, um Prozesse nicht nur zu verwalten, sondern technologisch weiterzuentwickeln.
