Chief Accountant | Financial Accountant | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Accountant | Jobs in Dubai

About the Role

Our client is seeking an immediately available Chief Accountant or Financial Accountant with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience. The role will suit an accounting professional who can take responsibility for accurate financial records, timely closing and reliable reporting.

Practical accounting capability and relevant D365 experience are central to this opportunity. Chartered Accountant qualification is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ledger Accounting: Maintain accurate general ledger records, journals and supporting schedules.
  • Financial Closing: Complete month-end and year-end accounting activities within agreed deadlines.
  • Account Reconciliations: Prepare bank and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, accounting schedules and explanations of significant movements.
  • D365 Operations: Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 for accounting transactions, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Accounting Controls: Check transaction accuracy and maintain a clear supporting audit trail.
  • Audit Support: Prepare accounting evidence and schedules required by internal and external reviewers.
  • Operational Support: Work with finance colleagues and other departments to resolve accounting queries.

Candidate Requirements

  • Accounting Experience: Demonstrated capability as a Chief Accountant, Financial Accountant or in a role with comparable accounting responsibilities.
  • D365 Experience: Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for finance or accounting work.
  • Immediate Availability: Available to join immediately, with any release or mobilisation dependencies clearly stated.
  • Closing Capability: Practical experience in general ledger accounting, financial closing and reconciliations.
  • Reporting Accuracy: Ability to prepare reliable accounting schedules and financial reports.
  • Professional Judgement: Careful handling of financial data and clear communication of accounting issues.
  • Qualification Flexibility: CA qualification is not mandatory; relevant practical accounting capability is essential.
