We're Hiring: Plant Manager – Honey Processing & Manufacturing

Location: Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at a Honey Processing Plant, ensuring efficient production, high-quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous operational improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing or plant operations, preferably within honey processing, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, herbal products, or food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily plant operations, production planning, processing, packaging, and dispatch.
  • Manage production targets, operational efficiency, resource utilization, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, health, safety, and manufacturing standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production controls.
  • Lead plant teams across production, quality, maintenance, and warehouse operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance, preventive maintenance, production output, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and regulatory teams to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Manage regulatory inspections, certification audits, and manufacturing licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, traceability, and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in plant management, production management, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in honey processing, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, herbal products, or food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management, hygiene, and operational controls.
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, production targets, and plant performance.
  • Knowledge of GMP/cGMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical-grade or medical-grade honey processing, nutraceutical manufacturing, GMP/cGMP environments, regulatory inspections, certification audits, and manufacturing licensing will be highly preferred.
