  • Advise business executives and in-house legal teams on aligning contractual protections, intellectual property rights, and technology commercialization objectives.
  • Collaborate with corporate, intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory attorneys on sophisticated cross-disciplinary matters.
  • Manage multiple client engagements independently while maintaining exceptional responsiveness, attention to detail, and client service.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on contract interpretation, risk allocation, liability limitations, indemnification, and intellectual property protections.
  • Stay current on developments in technology law, artificial intelligence, software licensing, intellectual property regulations, and digital commerce.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission or eligibility for admission in the jurisdiction where the attorney will practice.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated technology licensing and commercial agreements within a law firm.
  • Extensive experience with information technology transactions, software licensing, intellectual property commercialization, and complex commercial contracts.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, supported by relevant legal education.
  • Demonstrated experience advising on intellectual property and technology matters related to mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, cloud computing, platform technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-driven business models.

  • Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, legal analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to business executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, professional judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across legal practice groups.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience advising enterprise software providers, SaaS companies, emerging technology businesses, and venture-backed organizations.
  • Experience negotiating artificial intelligence licensing agreements, AI-enabled software contracts, data licensing arrangements, and technology commercialization agreements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
