Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement software integrations connecting enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications.
  • Develop APIs, integration services, data pipelines, and automation workflows using Python, SQL, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.

  • Partner directly with manufacturing customers to understand production processes, data architecture, operational challenges, and integration requirements.
  • Integrate enterprise manufacturing systems including ERP, MES, QMS, historians, SCADA, and other industrial software platforms.
  • Build reusable integration tools and connector libraries that improve deployment speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to configure AI and machine learning solutions that solve manufacturing challenges.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving distributed systems, networking, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production data pipelines.
  • Analyze large manufacturing datasets to identify data quality issues, diagnose integration failures, and implement technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence future product capabilities.
  • Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices that support scalable customer deployments.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution architecture discussions.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional customer communication and project execution.
  • Travel to customer manufacturing facilities as needed to support deployments, technical troubleshooting, and solution optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar.
  • Strong programming experience using Python and SQL.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and building software integrations.
  • Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, distributed systems, middleware, and enterprise software integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 40% to customer sites.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within manufacturing, industrial automation, Industrial IoT, or smart manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, SCADA, QMS, OPC UA, historians, or other manufacturing software platforms.
  • Experience with Golang, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ETL pipelines, or distributed cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or industrial data science applications.
  • Experience with manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, downtime analysis, process optimization, or predictive maintenance.
  • Experience with Airflow, Databricks, or modern data engineering platforms.
  • Previous experience working for a high-growth SaaS or industrial technology company.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants and modern software development tools.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
