Join Australia’s leading aquaculture team in a dynamic marine environment. Are you an experienced vessel operator with a strong safety mindset and a passion for working on the water? We’re looking for a skilled professional to support our operations at our Barramundi site in Cone Bay, Western Australia.   Working in a small team to provide our marine site with harvest and freight logistics, the mate supports the vessel master and engineer in day-to-day operations onboard our 48m vessel Karribi. Mate holds responsibility for supporting with watches, vessel loading and unloading along with fuel delivery to vessels on our farm site and daily deck operations and boat maintenance.   This is a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off roster, offering a unique opportunity to work in a remote, fast-paced aquaculture setting while enjoying extended time off.   What You’ll Need to Succeed

MED2 and Master V qualifications – essential for marine operations. Forklift and crane tickets – for safe and efficient handling of equipment. Dogging and rigging experience – to support complex lifting operations. Fish farming experience – ideally in marine environments. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

  What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting daily marine farm operations including feeding, net maintenance, and fish handling. Operating vessels and equipment safely and efficiently. Assisting with infrastructure maintenance and logistics. Working collaboratively with a close-knit team in a remote location.
