The Role Join our Maintenance team as a Maintenance Officer at Tassal's Dover site, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our operations.   Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll work as part of our skilled electrical team to ensure the smooth running of our equipment and systems. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, perfect for a proactive and technically minded individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.   The role includes on-call provisions to support our operations as needed. You'll contribute to maintaining optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability across our site while adhering to regulations, industry standards, and company policies.   If you're passionate about problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.   Responsibilities • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, components, and systems.• Work with PLC and SCADA-based systems, network cabling (fibre and copper), variable speed drives, large generators, LV power distribution, and instrumentation.• Interpret electrical schematics to ensure effective troubleshooting and maintenance.• Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency.• Uphold safety standards and contribute to our Zero Harm culture.   Role Requirements • Current Electrical Licence (mandatory).• Previous industrial electrical experience.• Exposure to PLC and SCADA systems (desirable).• High Voltage experience (preferred but not essential).• System-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.• Respectful, empathetic, and outcomes-focused approach, paired with a strong work ethic.• Willingness to participate in shift cover, weekends, and overtime as required.• Safe, driven, reliable, and can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork.• Current driver's licence.• Full working rights in Australia.• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.   What's On Offer • Competitive salary package with the opportunity to earn additional income through on-call duties.• Financial benefits including salary packaging, novated leasing, and exclusive rewards.• Comprehensive health and wellbeing programs designed to support you and your family.• Opportunity to join a leading Australian aquaculture company that values teamwork, innovation, and sustainability in a workplace where your contributions are recognised and your growth is encouraged.
