The posting

Ready to step into a hands-on leadership role in aquaculture? We’re looking for a Site Manager to lead the crew in our Western Zone and keep farming operations running safely, smoothly and productively working a Monday to Friday roster. Why this role?

Help drive safe, sustainable farming. Lead a key marine farming zone which includes operations for the BECRC Work with an experienced operations crew. Support fish health, welfare and performance. Make a real impact on site.

What you’ll be doing

Leading and driving safety leadership and minimising risk Leading and supporting the site crew. Managing daily marine farming operations. Planning and management of stock including management of biomass and infrastructure Managing costs, stock and compliance.

What you’ll bring You’ll be someone who leads from the front, communicates clearly and knows how to get the best out of a crew. You’ll be confident working with people across operations, support teams and the local community. We’re looking for someone with:

Excellent visible safety leadership Strong marine operations experience. Strong leadership and people skills. Clear communication, written and verbal. Confidence using systems and reports. Good judgement around costs and priorities.
