Political Science and International Relations (PSIR) is a large and collegial programme, with 26 academic staff. The programme is responsible for teaching two majors within the Bachelor of Arts, one major within the Bachelor of Communication, and is home to a new Bachelor of Politics degree. The programme also offers four taught Master’s degrees - in Politics, International Relations, Strategic Studies, and Migration Studies - and contributes to other degrees. Our programme is committed to teaching and research that meaningfully reflect our location in Te Whanganui-a-Tara - Wellington and to undertaking engagement with government and local communities that our location allows. Many of our staff are involved in international research collaborations including in Māori/Indigenous politics.

PSIR has an active Māori/Indigenous politics researcher and postgraduate cluster, and other experts in Māori politics sit within Te Kawa a Māui – School of Māori Studies, which also offers courses on politics and society that students can take independently or count towards Political Science majors in the BA and some Bachelor of Politics majors. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
