Finance Business Partner Technology Foundations

As Finance Business Partner Technology Foundations, you shape financial decisions at the heart of Telenet’s technology agenda. You partner with and challenge the SLT an LT members, turn complex financial and operational data into decisive action, and drive Gross Profit and OPEX performance across the scope. You support a Finance Business Partner and raise the quality and consistency of financial steering. This is a high-impact role for an ambitious finance professional who combines sharp analysis, influential storytelling and the courage to challenge the status quo.

You will:

  • Own budgets across your scope and unlock smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • Drive closing, forecasting and performance conversations
  • Turn KPIs, cost and profitability drivers into focused management action
  • Shape budgets and long-range plans through strong governance and alignment

You report to the Technology & Corporate Finance Business Partnering Director.

Your main responsibilities as Finance Business Partner Technology Foundations

  • Build cost discipline through incisive, data-led reviews and excellent follow-through
  • Influence senior stakeholders on cost, profitability, productivity and process improvement
  • Lead closing, forecasting, budgeting and planning deliverables across the area
  • Turn workforce and cost assumptions into a forward-looking financial view
  • Challenge initiatives, transformation plans and business cases to strengthen outcomes
  • Safeguard reporting accuracy, insightful variance analysis and finance compliance

You will thrive in this role if you bring…

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, consulting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical business partnering role.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect financial performance to operational and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent analytical and modelling skills, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Proven ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and influence decision-making at senior management level.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into business actions.
  • Curiosity, ambition, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English; Dutch and French are considered assets.
