The posting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the daily activities of the Procurement team, assigns procurement requests to team members, monitors workload and priorities, and ensures that requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Monitors the status of all procurement requests, purchase orders, and deliveries, follows up on outstanding actions, and ensures that required goods and services are procured and delivered within the agreed timelines.
  • Coordinates the daily tendering and RFQ process, ensuring that quotations are requested, received, evaluated, and processed in accordance with established procurement procedures.
  • Reviews procurement requests and purchase orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with approved requirements before submission for the relevant approval.
  • Coordinates with internal departments and vendors on the status of purchase orders and deliveries, promptly addresses delays or issues, and provides regular updates to internal clients.
  • Monitors vendor performance on a day-to-day basis, including delivery timelines, product or service quality, and responsiveness, and escalates recurring or critical issues to Company Management.
  • Ensures that procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation are properly maintained and available for reporting, review, and audit purposes.
  • Supervises the day-to-day performance of Procurement team members, provides operational guidance, monitors completion of assigned tasks, and escalates workload, performance, or resource issues to Company Management.
