Role Description:

  • Is in charge of the services activities of assigned site to ensure the safety, quality and customer satisfaction standards are followed and the business needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance and safety standards are followed and safety targets are met. Plans and manages the site activities within own area of responsibility.
  • Is responsible for budget, costs and resources within own area of responsibility.
  • Is responsible for customer satisfaction and client relationship management in own area of responsibility.
  • Ensures optimal quality and quantity of the service employees in own area of responsibility. Is responsible for continuous learning, competencies and development orientation. Challenges employees to continuously improve key competencies.
  • Liases with relevant stakeholders to ensure cross-functional operations are completed according to business needs.
  • Deliver a capable and sustainable operating business.
  • Continuously improve business operations.

Competences and Requirements:

  • Must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the client and the national workforce.
  • Must be professional and a personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company good understanding of the Company/project profitability reporting figures and relevant financial measures (gross margin, net sales, overheads and contribution margin).
  • Good negotiating, organizational, presentation, interpersonal and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills with compulsory experience as experience of Office documents and with preferred experience from SAP/PM or other Maintenance Management software.
  • Fluent English verbal and written skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge on the occupational hazards, safety precautions and risk management applicable to the work.
  • Able to comply with different business cultures, able to work under stress.
  • Minimum 10 years' proven experience from managing large teams. Relevant managing experience in Mining service is advantage.
  • Degree in engineering or management.
  • Experience of working for a multinational company and matrix organization; international experience is an advantage.
  • Will work at surface but needs to visit Underground mine when required.
