About the Role A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join its resident care team. The organization serves older adults across assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, and it values caregivers who build real relationships with residents and their families. Full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules are available across day, evening, and night shifts. This is a chance to join a stable, mission-driven team that invests in training, recognizes great work, and supports growth into medication aide, charge, and nursing roles.

Caregivers here are part of a consistent assignment model, which means working with the same residents and getting to know their routines, preferences, and families. Nurse leaders are accessible and hands-on, new team members receive a structured orientation with a preceptor, and staffing is planned so each shift can focus on quality care rather than rushing from task to task.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
  • Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output accurately
  • Help residents at mealtimes and monitor nutrition and hydration
  • Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
  • Observe and promptly report changes in condition, skin integrity, behavior, or mood to the charge nurse
  • Document care in the electronic health record before the end of each shift
  • Support residents living with dementia using calm, person-centered approaches
  • Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and free of hazards
  • Follow infection control, fall prevention, and resident rights policies
  • Communicate warmly with families and visitors and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Take part in shift reports, care plan huddles, and ongoing training
  • Help residents take part in activities, outings, and daily routines that bring purpose and joy
  • Welcome and orient new residents and support them through their first weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Active CNA certification in good standing on the state nurse aide registry
  • Current BLS or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Six months or more of experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital care preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate care
  • Ability to pass a background check and health screening
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Basic computer skills for electronic charting, or willingness to learn

Benefits & Pay Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and schedule. Benefits for eligible employees are confirmed during the interview process and may include:
