Education Sales Specialist Location: New York, New York Pay Rate: $25 – $25 per hour

Position Overview A leading organization in the education sector is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Education Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in New York. This is a field-based position offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education industry while building your sales career. Working directly with clients and institutions, you will be instrumental in driving sales initiatives and expanding our market presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this field-based role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and educational institutions
  • Your responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying leads, presenting our solutions to decision-makers, and closing sales opportunities
  • You will conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the value of our offerings to various educational stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be critical to your success, as you'll need to understand each prospect's unique needs and customize solutions accordingly
  • You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining detailed records of all client interactions and transactions
  • Regular travel throughout the New York area will be required to visit schools, training centers, and educational organizations
  • Collaboration with internal teams is essential, as you'll coordinate with management to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
  • You will also gather market intelligence and feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess proven sales experience, with preference given to those with retail sales or beauty education backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you'll interact with diverse stakeholders daily
  • You must be self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing your time effectively while working independently in a field-based environment
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this position, as you will be traveling throughout the New York area to meet with clients
  • Previous experience in education, training, or the beauty industry is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications is necessary
  • You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for education and helping others succeed
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of building lasting client relationships is critical
