Business controller/Finance Manager

In deze uitdagende baan (minimaal 32 uur) als Business Controller/Finance Manager bij onze klant fungeer jij als financiële business partner en bied je ondersteuning bij het maken van strategische besluiten en performance management. Je bent iemand die in staat is draagvlak te creëren voor een verbetering van de efficiëntie, die zorgt voor sterke informatievoorzieningen en helpt bij de expansievisie van het bedrijf. Verder analyseer je de financiële resultaten en bied je bruikbare analyses aan om de bedrijfsprestaties verder te verbeteren.

Het team

Je leidinggevende skills komen bij ons goed van pas, het Finance team opereert namelijk onder jouw supervisie. Het is een fijn team, bestaande uit drie collega’s. Je bent de financiële steun en toeverlaat van de Algemeen Directeur en de Group CFO, met jouw adviezen en input kunnen zij aan de slag.

Wie is onze klant?

Onze klant verzorgt de logistiek voor bedrijven in de foodsector. Hierbij zijn zowel A-merken, internationale merken en startups onze klant. Onze chauffeurs en bezorgers rijden 7 dagen per week met gekoelde bestellingen door heel Nederland. Daarnaast hebben we een groot distributiecentrum, waar we levensmiddelen opslaan en bestellingen orderpicken. We doen zelf ook veel met voedsel: zo borrelen we regelmatig met elkaar, bestellen we met nog meer regelmaat lunch en eens in de zoveel tijd plannen we gezellige uitjes/BBQ’s etc.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Het managen van de dagelijkse operationele activiteiten als ook de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluiting binnen de deadlines, inclusief rapportering en analyses;
  • Het managen van audits (intern en extern), jaarverslaggeving (incl. deponering), IFRS-vraagstukken, belastingen, cashflow, verzekeringen, investeringen enz.;
  • Het managen van de Planning & Control cyclus waaronder:
  • ​Budgettering en forecasting inclusief inschatting van risico’s en kansen
  • Opstellen van de (management)rapportages inclusief operationele en financiële KPI’s/drivers en de daarbij behorende analyses, op zowel BU- als groepsniveau
  • Rentabiliteitsanalyses maken per klant;
  • Ondersteunen van strategische initiatieven en business cases;
  • Initiëren, coördineren en verbeteren van (financiële en business) processen;
  • Het managen, coachen en verder ontwikkelen van het team;
  • Fungeren als kritische sparringpartner die advies geeft, maar ook ideeën uitdraagt.

Jouw achtergrond

  • Je beschikt minimaal over (post-) HBO werk- en denkniveau;
  • Je hebt minimaal 4-5 jaar relevante werkervaring waarbij ervaring in de Logistieke sector een pré is;
  • Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift;
  • Je bent proactief, hands-on en ondernemend en niet bang om je mening en visie te delen.
