X Cloud journey

We zijn 5 jaar geleden begonnen met onze reis naar de Cloud (AWS) en sindsdien is alle ontwikkeling hier volledig op gericht. De algemene infrastructuur wordt via IaC (door-)ontwikkeld en onderhouden, onze agile teams ontwikkelen via CI/CD pipelines oplossingen die typisch draaien in Kubernetes clusters en we zijn nu bezig de resterende (m.n. backoffice) applicaties van ons on-prem datacenter te migreren naar AWS.

Voor ons Cloud Beheer team zijn wij nu op zoek naar een gedreven

Cloud Engineer (medior/senior)

die ons met zijn of haar kennis van en ervaring met Infrastructure As Code en Kubernetes kan helpen onze AWS-omgeving naar een hoger niveau te brengen en de ambitie heeft ook zelf naar een steeds hoger niveau door te ontwikkelen.

Dit ga je doen

We zoeken iemand die voor ons de AWS cloud infrastructuur ontwerpt en ontwikkelt en het beheer voert op de vele applicaties die daarop worden gehost. Die samen met collega’s uit de verschillende disciplines en diverse leveranciers op zoek gaat naar de beste oplossing, vanuit een devops rol in een agile omgeving. Daarnaast is de Cloud Engineer voortdurend bezig met het automatiseren van AWS en Kubernetes omgevingen en werkt met CI/CD pipelines zowel voor de eigen IaC code als in de samenwerking met onze agile teams. En uiteraard kunnen we met infrastructuur- en applicatie incidenten altijd bij je terecht.

Dit ben jij

Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar aantoonbare ervaring met het beheren van AWS-infrastructuur, Kubernetes clusters en daarop gehoste applicaties.

Met die reeds aanwezige kennis ben je in staat kansen te signaleren en grijp je deze ook ter verbetering van de opzet van onze AWS infrastructuur en de daarop draaiende applicaties.

Je bent ambitieus en dus neem je actief maatregelen om samen met ons onze en ook je eigen doelen waar te maken. Je neemt ons daarin mee met behulp van een voor betrokkenen heldere boodschap.

En je blijft nieuws- en leergierig en wilt dus niets missen om aangesloten te kunnen blijven op de wereld van morgen. Graag werken we dan ook in co-creatie met jou aan de beste invulling van je rol en aan jouw ambities.
