Solliciteer dan snel! The Preferred Supplier is namelijk op zoek naar een Business Controller die verstand heeft van DATA!

De toekomst van reizen is nu. Daarom zetten we data en technologie in voor een slimmere en efficiëntere operatie op Schiphol. We voorspellen passagier flows en testen digitale oplossingen om rijen en andere pijnpunten in het proces te verminderen. Met slimme feedback van sensortechnologie, maken we zelfs data van toiletten en stoelen inzichtelijk en bruikbaar. Dit alles en meer vindt plaats op de afdeling IT & Data. Deze afdeling bestaat uit vijf business platforms (Commercial, Operations, Assets, Security, Employee), gedragen door een aantal foundation afdelingen (CIO Office, Data & AI, Enabling Technology).

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is verantwoordelijk voor “Create Insights” binnen Finance waarbij:

• Zorggedragen wordt voor één versie van de waarheid voor gegevens om betrouwbare informatie en inzichten te leveren;

• Gestructureerde en niet gestructureerde financiële en niet-financiële data wordt gecombineerd tot waardevolle fact-based (toekomstige) inzichten;

• Business gedreven analyses worden uitgevoerd, waarbij fact-based scenario’s worden geleverd.

Binnen FP&A is Group/Business Insights verantwoordelijk voor de Planning & Control cyclus

In jouw rol als Controller Business Insights ben je verantwoordelijk voor het maken van analyses, het vertalen van bedrijfsonderdeel-specifieke data t.b.v. bredere inzet hiervan in de organisatie en het verzorgen van inzichten. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor organisatie onderdelen (Aviation of non-Aviation) t.b.v. inzicht vragen waarbij niet-financiële en financiële informatie bij elkaar komen. Je zorgt voor één versie van de waarheid voor data om betrouwbare informatie te leveren, je combineert gestructureerde en niet-gestructureerde data tot waardevolle analyses en op feiten gebaseerde (toekomstige) inzichten. Ook draag je bij aan het modelleren van scenario’s op basis van data en feiten. Samenvattend zullen je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan uit:

• Standaard en ad-hoc rapportages faciliteren;

• Adviseren gebaseerd op proactieve analyse van data;

• Gecombineerd interpreteren van business & financial data;

• Richting geven aan geautomatiseerde forecasting, gebaseerd op historische en actuele data;

• Faciliteren van het (fact-based) leerproces;

• Adviseren op bottlenecks, risico’s en mogelijke oplossingen gebaseerd op de diverse databronnen naar aanleiding van analyses.

Functie eisen:

• WO werk –en denkniveau en minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring;

• Begrijpt de business om hoge en lage prioriteiten te onderscheiden;

• Sterke analytische vaardigheden in het gebruik van statistische en visuele informatie en experimenteel zijn in het combineren van data;

• Ervaring hebben met technologie en tools (onder andere power BI, SQL) en begrijpen hoe je deze kunt gebruiken om inzichten te creëren;

• Creëert en legt verschillende scenario’s uit;

• Ervaring als data-analist en ervaring met tool als R en Python zijn een pré.
