Medior Controller

De Organisatie

Onze klant is gespecialiseerd in het produceren van polypropyleen grondstoffen (granulaat). Polypropyleen wordt gebruikt in vele producten zoals auto-onderdelen, in de gezondheidsindustrie, textiel, elektrische apparaten, productverpakkingen en vele huishoudelijke producten. Zij typeert zich als een informele, platte organisatie met korte lijnen waar geen dag hetzelfde is. In totaal werken er ongeveer 100 medewerkers op onze plant in Rotterdam - Rozenburg.

De Functie

Je komt te werken in een Finance team van 6 collegas en je rapporteert aan de Finance Manager. Binnen Finance zul je voornamelijk samenwerken met de Controller en andere Assistent Controller.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Als Medior Controller ben je een echte procesdenker, je bent data gedreven en van nature geneigd om "de waarom-vraag" te stellen
  • Samen met jouw collega's ben je verantwoordelijk voor de financiële (maand)afsluitingen, rapportages en budgetbewaking
  • Je assisteert bijvoorbeeld bij voorbereiding van accountants controles en processen rondom prijsstelling van onze producten of inkooporders
  • Tevens ben jij het aanspreekpunt voor diverse problemen op financieel gebied, zowel intern als extern
  • Je bent bekend met Exact of je zorgt ervoor dat je dit pakket binnen de kortste keren onder de knie hebt;
  • Je hebt alle ruimte om voorstellen ten aanzien van procesverbeteringen te doen
  • Je bespreekt en analyseert het maandelijkse budget met de afdelingsmanagers en stuurt de inkoopadministratie aan

Jouw profiel

  • Je bent een assertieve, analytische en initiatiefrijke Finance professional die zich nog volop wil ontwikkelen binnen het vakgebied en hebt minimaal een HBO opleiding
  • Je hebt 3-5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare positie binnen een financiële afdeling van, bij voorkeur, een productieorganisatie
  • Je bent een kei in plannen en organiseren, je bent nauwkeurig en Excel heeft weinig geheimen meer voor je
  • Beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal is een must om te kunnen spreken en schrijven met onze klanten, relaties en moedermaatschappij
  • Hard werken is bij ons de norm, maar niet zonder daar samen veel plezier in te hebben, en je kan tegen een stootje
