Wat ga je bij ons doen?

Jouw team richt zich op het bouwen aan ons softwareproduct Wise. Daarover leggen we straks meer uit. Als Senior Full-stack Java Developer ligt jouw focus op analyseren, het oplossen van problemen in bestaande functionaliteiten en het opleveren van nieuwe functionaliteiten.

Wij zoeken een developer die:

  • Software bouwt, test en documenteert met een sterk gevoel voor eigenaarschap;
  • Sterk is in het analyseren en oplossen van complexe problemen in bestaande functionaliteit;
  • Verantwoordelijkheid neemt in de oplevering van nieuwe functionaliteit;
  • Snel leert, graag innovatief bezig is en vindt dat er altijd iets te verbeteren is;
  • Direct wil bijdragen aan het eindresultaat.

Je werkt in een agile team (Jira en Confluence) en gebruikt Git voor het delen van je code.

Wat mag je van ons verwachten?

Onze klant is een wereldwijd samenwerkingsverband dat technologie maakt voor bibliotheken. Onze klant heeft zon 20 kantoren, verspreid over 4 werelddelen: Europa, Noord-Amerika, Azië en Oceanië. In Nederland hebben wij twee vestigingen: Leiden en Eelde. Ons hoofdkantoor staat in Dublin, Ohio (VS).

Onze klant heeft klanten in openbare, wetenschappelijke en speciale bibliotheken. Wij zetten ons in voor onze missie: kennis is er om gedeeld te worden. Wat breng je mee?

Je beschikt over:

  • Minimaal hbo werk- en denkniveau.
  • Ruime ervaring met Java, Spring, SQL (MySQL DB), REST, Maven, Git, JUnit en AssertJ.
  • Ervaring met Angular of andere front-end tools.
  • Je bent in staat om zelfstandig complexe puzzels/vraagstukken op te lossen.
  • Je bent analytisch, weloverwogen en kwaliteitsgericht. Daarnaast beschik je over een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je hebt een positieve mindset en kan goed samenwerken met je teamleden. Daarnaast vindt je het leuk om je kennis en kunde te delen met collega's op een coachende wijze.
  • Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands. Omdat we nauw samenwerken met o.a. onze Amerikaanse en Duitse collegas is ook een goede beheersing van het Engels gewenst.

Het is een pre als je beschikt over het volgende:

  • Ervaring met Angular, HTML, SCSS, Jenkins, Docker en Cypress.
  • Werkervaring met een grote enterprise applicatie.
  • Het is handig wanneer je al hebt gewerkt in een agile omgeving (Scrum of Kanban), die gebruik maakt van Atlassian producten, zoals Jira, Confluence en BitBucket.

Jouw bureau staat in ons kantoor in Eelde, pal naast Groningen Airport Eelde. Je komt te werken in een van de vijf development teams, waarbij jouw team zich richt op de Benelux markt. Dit team is divers, solidair en biedt volop ruimte voor eigen inbreng. Het kantoor in Eelde kenmerkt zich door een informele, collegiale en open werksfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat je je bij ons thuis voelt. Je collegas nemen de tijd om je goed wegwijs te maken, zodat je zo snel mogelijk zelfstandig aan de slag kunt.
