Wil jij koken op een unieke plek in Amsterdam, midden in het Oosterpark? Restaurant PARK, het culinaire hart van Hotel Arena, zoekt een gedreven en creatieve Sous-Chef die samen met de Chef-Kok onze keuken naar een hoger niveau tilt.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Sous-Chef ben jij de rechterhand en de vervanger van de Chef-Kok. Je staat voor een groot deel zelf achter de kachel, maar hebt ook een sturende en coachende rol. Verder ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Operationele leiding: Je stuurt de brigade aan op de vloer, bewaakt de constante kwaliteit en zorgt dat elk bord strak het erf verlaat.
  • Creativiteit: Je denkt actief mee over nieuwe gerechten, de opbouw van de menukaart en de invulling van feesten en feesten/events.
  • Organisatie & Beheer: Je helpt mee met het voorraadbeheer, de inkoop, de HACCP-naleving en het maken van efficiënte roosters.
  • Teamontwikkeling: Je begeleidt en motiveert het keukenteam, stimuleert jong talent en behoudt de rust tijdens de nodige piekmomenten.

Wat maakt jou succesvol in deze rol?

Herken jij jezelf hierin?

  • Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als Sous-Chef of als ervaren Chef de Partie toe aan de volgende stap, bij voorkeur in een vergelijkbare, drukke horecaomgeving.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk, stressbestendig en leidt vanuit enthousiasme en vakmanschap.
  • Je bent bekend met de HACCP-wetgeving en begrijpt de balans tussen kwaliteit en marge/foodcost.
  • Je bent flexibel inzetbaar (avonden, weekenden en feestdagen).
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands en/of Engels.
