The posting

About the Team The German Content Operations team partners with the country's leading creators, broadcasters, and digital publishers to accelerate content growth and scale on TikTok. This role sits at the critical junction of Publisher Management and Programs — acting as the connective tissue that ensures rights-holding publisher partners are effectively integrated into product rollouts, engagement programs, and cross-functional initiatives across the German market.

Publisher Management (Core Focus) - Rights Holder Partnerships: Manage and deepen relationships with sports rights holders, federations, broadcasters, and digital publishers to drive content supply growth and platform integration. - Content Acquisition & Onboarding: Support negotiations for content acquisition and new publisher onboarding, securing preferred platform positioning for premium sports content and IP. - Content Supply Growth: Drive posting frequency and content volume from key rights holders and publishers, using data-driven strategies to accelerate growth and positioning. - IP Integration & Activation: Work with rights-holding publishers to activate their IP across TikTok — including official account content, club and broadcaster video supply, and commercial sponsorship activation — maximizing the value of secured rights. - Monetization & Commercial Value: Support strategies that enhance monetization opportunities and non-monetary value for rights-holding publishers, including ad credits and revenue-driving content formats.

Program Management - Program Development & Execution: Develop and execute locally relevant programs to drive publisher engagement — with a focus on sports IP activations and event-driven content campaigns. - Localization & Adaptation: Contribute to the customization and adaptation of global programs to meet German market needs and cultural nuances, including locally owned tentpoles, community-building efforts, DEI initiatives, owned events, and educational sessions. - Internal Stakeholder Navigation: Act as the central node across internal teams to navigate competing priorities, resolve blockers, and ensure rights holder and program objectives are advanced across all touchpoints. - LIVE Ops Collaboration: Work closely with the LIVE Ops team to ensure rights holder content is integrated into live initiatives where applicable — aligning content calendars and coordinating real-time activations. - Joint Strategy Development: Co-develop strategy with internal teams to identify opportunities where rights holder IP, platform features, and growth initiatives intersect — creating integrated go-to-market plans. - Stakeholder Alignment: Drive alignment between rights holder partner goals and internal stakeholder KPIs, ensuring content supply, growth, and product adoption objectives are mutually reinforcing. - Issue Resolution & Escalation: Navigate and resolve cross-functional issues spanning rights holder management, program execution, and internal stakeholder domains. Serve as the escalation point when partnerships encounter operational friction.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media Studies, Sports Management, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in publisher/account management, program management, media partnerships, or sports rights management within the German digital or media ecosystem, with a proven track record of leading high-value partnerships and driving measurable growth. - Deep understanding of the German sports and media rights landscape — including key leagues, federations, broadcasters, and rights holders — and how IP rights translate into platform content supply and growth. - Demonstrated experience working at the intersection of partner management and internal operations — with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments and build consensus across disparate business units. - Full proficiency in German and fluent English required, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse partner groups and internal teams. - Strong knowledge of German market dynamics, cultural nuances, and audience behavior, with the ability to localize global strategies effectively as well as German regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., media standards, content licensing, sports broadcasting rights, disclosure requirements). Solid analytical skills with experience using data and performance metrics to drive partner growth, program effectiveness, and strategic decisions. - Experience working in an international organization, collaborating with regional and global stakeholders across teams, organizational structures, and geographies. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience negotiating or managing sports IP rights, live broadcast rights, or content licensing agreements in the German market. - Existing network within the German sports media ecosystem — including rights holders, federations, clubs, broadcasters, and sports agencies. - Experience launching and scaling sports content programs or IP-driven growth initiatives in fast-paced environments. - Strong creative instincts with the ability to turn IP rights and platform goals into impactful, partner-facing initiatives. - Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches for rights holder management that can be adapted across regions. - Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs. - Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-focused approach to stakeholder navigation. - MS/MA/MBA considered a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
