Job Description

Trevi SpA is hiring for construction sites in Italy:

Service Crane Operators

Required Skills

  1. Perform a preliminary inspection of the support surface.
  2. Assess the conformation and composition of the ground.
  3. Check the documentation of the equipment.
  4. Carry out safety checks (structure, hooks, control panel functionality, etc.).
  5. Evaluate the presence of other machinery or elements in the work area that could limit or compromise the use of the equipment.
  6. Promptly notify the supervisor of any faults or anomalies.
  7. Perform routine maintenance activities.
  8. Inform the supervisor of any QHSE-related violations.
  9. Support the supervisor in departmental activities.
  10. Knowledge of the assigned equipment, including the O&M manual, performance, limitations, components and spare parts, and manufacturers.
  11. Skill in assembling, disassembling, and positioning the assigned equipment (direction, stability, use of steel plates, etc.).
  12. Competence in using load charts and evaluating the maximum load based on outreach (safe lifting).
  13. Proficiency in using onboard electronic instruments.
  14. Competence in selecting appropriate anchoring points and lifting devices (chains, ropes, slings, spreader bars, etc.).
  15. Skill in lifting and using excavation accessories (hydraulic clamp, oscillator, unscrewer, hammers and chisels, etc.).
  16. Ability to move the equipment (translation) with suspended loads safely.
  17. Competence in routine maintenance and filling out the maintenance log.
  18. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic concepts.

For this position, the expected gross annual salary ranges from 26.000€ to 31.000€, determined based on experience, skills, and the level of responsibility associated with the role, in compliance with the Edilizia Industria National Collective Labour Agreement. Meals and accommodation are provided in the event of assignments away from the usual place of work.
