What You'll Do as the Project Manager - Multi-Family Door & Millwork:

  • Manage large multifamily construction projects from early submittals and preconstruction through procurement, installation, and closeout.
  • Review contracts, project scopes, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Own submittals, RFIs, ASIs, drawing revisions, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate purchasing and procurement for doors, hardware, millwork, and other assigned material packages.
  • Manage material schedules to ensure products are ordered accurately and arrive when required.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall profitability.
  • Communicate directly with general contractors, customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate closely with internal field installation crews to keep projects moving.
  • Visit active jobsites as needed to address field conditions, installation issues, and project coordination.
  • Troubleshoot material, schedule, scope, and field challenges before they impact the project.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and communication.
  • Support project completion, retention, and closeout.
  • As you grow, provide direction and support to Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Collaborate across project teams and step in when another team needs support.

Must-Haves as the Project Manager - Multi-Family Door & Millwork:

  • Construction project management experience or substantial Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager experience with readiness to step into a PM role.
  • Experience supporting larger commercial or multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction project coordination and lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing or supporting budgets, procurement, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, drawing changes, and change management.
  • Ability to coordinate material procurement and delivery requirements.
  • Experience communicating directly with general contractors, customers, vendors, or other project stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with field installation or construction teams.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage a high volume of moving parts.
  • Ownership mentality with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work primarily onsite in Kent, WA, with a sustainable local commute.

Nice-to-Haves as the Project Manager - Multi-Family Door & Millwork:

  • Project management experience with doors, architectural hardware, millwork, or Division 8 scopes.
  • Multifamily construction experience.
  • Specialty subcontractor background.
  • Experience with hollow metal doors and frames, finish carpentry, panic hardware, fire/egress doors, or related building products.
  • Experience managing large material packages.
  • Experience overseeing several million dollars in annual project volume.
  • Local Seattle-area construction relationships.
  • Experience coordinating directly with installation crews.
  • Previous responsibility for project profitability.
  • Experience mentoring or overseeing Project Engineers or Assistant Project Managers.

This Role Offers:

  • Base salary of $90,000-$125,000, depending on experience.
  • Potential flexibility above the stated range for an exceptional industry-specific candidate.
  • Quarterly project-performance bonus opportunity with meaningful upside as an established project portfolio develops.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with a 4% company match.
  • Mileage reimbursement for jobsite travel.
  • Primarily local project travel.
  • Opportunity to manage substantial multifamily project volume.
  • Collaborative team environment where PMs support one another rather than operate in silos.
  • Opportunity for an experienced APM or Project Engineer to step into a true Project Manager position.
  • Continued growth potential as the company's project backlog and overall volume expand.
  • Reasonable flexibility around appointments and family obligations within a primarily onsite work environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
