Job Description

About the role and team

Uber Advertising helps brands and businesses connect with consumers across Uber’s Mobility and Delivery platforms. We support advertisers across consumer packaged goods (CPG), agencies, restaurants, retail, and other verticals, helping them use Uber’s suite of advertising solutions to achieve their marketing and business goals.

As the Senior Associate, Global Ads Performance Enablement - Acquisition, you will help advertising Account Executives, including acquisition-focused Client Partners, strengthen the skills and sales discipline needed to win new advertisers and establish successful client relationships. Your focus will be on improving execution across the acquisition journey—from prospecting and qualification through discovery, solution development, negotiation, and close.

You will partner with global and regional Ads Enablement teams, frontline managers, commercial leaders, and Sales Operations to understand business priorities, competitive trends, and seller performance needs. Using commercial performance data, CRM insights, call reviews, and direct observation, you will identify coaching opportunities and deliver practical support that helps sellers translate learning into stronger execution and measurable results.

This role requires a strong coach and facilitator who understands advertising sales, builds credibility with experienced sellers, and connects skill development to advertiser needs. You will develop repeatable coaching resources and targeted performance programs that regional teams can adapt to their markets, while directly supporting priority seller groups.

What you’ll do

  • Identify acquisition performance gaps: Use pipeline and conversion data, Salesforce reporting, manager input, seller feedback, and call reviews to identify specific skills and behaviors that affect new advertiser acquisition. Distinguish coaching needs from product, pricing, process, or operational barriers.
  • Deliver targeted seller coaching: Facilitate individual and small-group coaching, workshops, role plays, deal reviews, and call reviews. Provide actionable feedback and follow-up support as sellers apply new skills to active opportunities.
  • Strengthen prospecting and qualification: Help sellers identify relevant advertisers, research business needs, develop effective outreach, qualify opportunities consistently, and build a healthy pipeline aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Improve discovery and solution selling: Coach sellers to uncover advertiser objectives, understand audiences and buying processes, and connect Uber’s advertising solutions to relevant use cases and measurable client goals.
  • Build advertising sales fluency: Help sellers explain product capabilities, audience insights, measurement approaches, and approved differentiation clearly and accurately. Adapt practice activities to the needs of CPG brands, agencies, restaurants, retail businesses, and other advertiser segments.
  • Develop opportunity execution skills: Strengthen stakeholder mapping, proposal development, objection handling, negotiation, and closing. Help sellers establish clear next steps and mutual expectations with prospective clients.
  • Reinforce sales rigor and Salesforce hygiene: Partner with Sales Operations and managers to reinforce agreed qualification standards, stage progression, opportunity updates, close dates, and next-step discipline. Help sellers use accurate CRM records to manage their pipeline and support reliable forecasting.
  • Partner with frontline managers: Align on coaching priorities, define observable behaviors and success measures, and share progress and recommendations. Equip managers with coaching guides and practice activities they can use in regular team and pipeline conversations.
  • Scale effective practices globally: Develop reusable acquisition playbooks, coaching resources, and skill-development programs with regional Enablement partners. Adapt delivery to local market conditions, languages, product availability, and advertiser needs.
  • Connect skill development to product changes: Partner with Ads GTM Enablement, Product, and Marketing to reinforce the selling behaviors needed for new offerings or changes. Turn launch knowledge into practical discovery questions, positioning, and objection handling.
  • Support successful client handoffs: Reinforce clear documentation of advertiser objectives, agreed solutions, measurement expectations, and commitments so Partner Managers and delivery teams can support a strong transition after close.
  • Measure progress and refine support: Track skill proficiency, behavior change, pipeline quality, stage conversion, sales cycle progression, and new advertiser outcomes. Use results and feedback to improve coaching and share effective practices.
  • Reinforce effective use of sales technology: Help sellers use Salesforce, Seismic, conversational intelligence, Agentforce, and other approved tools to improve preparation, execution, and productivity.

Basic qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Sales Enablement, advertising sales, sales training, Commercial Operations, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting or working in new business sales, with an understanding of prospecting, qualification, discovery, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience coaching customer-facing professionals or facilitating skill development through workshops, role plays, call reviews, deal reviews, or structured feedback.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising concepts, including campaign objectives, audience targeting, performance measurement, and advertiser outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret commercial performance data and combine it with qualitative insights to identify gaps and recommend practical actions.
  • Experience partnering with frontline managers or commercial stakeholders to align coaching priorities, coordinate support, and track progress.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to understand pipeline performance and reinforce consistent sales processes and data quality.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to coordinate multiple coaching priorities and programs across teams and time zones.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, provide actionable feedback, and communicate effectively with sellers, managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to work from the designated Uber office according to Uber’s applicable work schedule, with in-person presence aligned to coaching, training, and team needs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience coaching advertising Account Executives or Client Partners responsible for acquiring new advertisers.
  • Experience in digital advertising, ad tech, retail media, commerce media, or a related business.
  • Experience supporting sales to CPG brands, agencies, restaurants, retail businesses, or multiple advertiser verticals.
  • Demonstrated success delivering coaching or training that contributed to improved opportunity quality, conversion, sales cycle progression, new advertiser activation, or revenue attainment.
  • Experience reinforcing sales methodologies, qualification frameworks, CRM hygiene, and manager-led coaching.
  • Experience developing programs or resources for use across multiple regions, with the ability to balance consistent sales practices and local market needs.
  • Familiarity with Seismic, Tableau, conversational intelligence, Agentforce, or comparable sales and enablement platforms.
  • Experience using AI-powered insights to identify coaching opportunities, personalize support, or improve seller productivity, while validating recommendations against performance data and manager context.
  • Experience translating competitive trends, advertiser insights, and product capabilities into practical selling guidance and skill development.
  • Ability to build credibility with experienced sellers and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
