Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Asset Management & Capital Lifecycle provides strategic leadership for UCSF Facilities Services' enterprise asset management program, ensuring that infrastructure assets are planned, delivered, maintained, optimized, and renewed through a standardized lifecycle management framework. Receiving assignments in the form of objectives, the incumbent determines how to utilize resources, formulate policies, and establishes the governance, standards, and processes required to integrate capital planning, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and lifecycle replacement into a single enterprise asset management strategy.

This position serves as the critical organizational bridge between Capital Planning, Facilities Investment Needs, Integrated Capital Asset Management Program, 15- & 25-Year Renewal, Operations & Maintenance, BOSC, and executive leadership. Leveraging advanced planning and technical knowledge, the Assistant Director leads the development of a data-driven asset management program—utilizing Maximo Manage, MREF, ICAMP/TRIRIGA, Building Management Systems (BMS), and future IBM Maximo Application Suite capabilities—to improve asset reliability, optimize overall lifecycle costs, mitigate operational risk, and support long-term capital investment decisions

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
