University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to clients in the Brighton, MI area. This role involves assisting with daily living activities to help improve the quality of life for our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
  • Provide companionship and support to enhance emotional well-being.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or errands.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.
  • Observe and report any changes in client condition or needs to supervisors.
  • Follow care plans and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to pass necessary background checks and health screenings.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
