Der MakerSpace ist eine öffentlich zugängliche, 1.500 qm große Hightech-Werkstatt und Teil von UnternehmerTUM, Europas führendem Zentrum für Innovation und Gründung. Hier haben Mitglieder Zugang zu Maschinen, Werkzeugen, Software und einer kreativen Community – vom ersten Prototyp bis zum fertigen Produkt. Ambitionierte Start-ups, Studierende, Do-it-yourself-Aktive und kreative Köpfe treffen bei uns aufeinander, egal ob Einsteiger:in oder Profi.

Der Front Desk ist die erste Anlaufstelle für Mitglieder, Interessierte und Gäste im MakerSpace Garching. Da sich hier zugleich die Zentrale von UnternehmerTUM in Garching befindet, begrüßt das Front-Desk-Team auch Gäste und Besuchende von UnternehmerTUM. Als Head unseres Front Desk Teams übernimmst du die Leitung des Front-Desk-Teams, prägst den ersten Eindruck unserer Community und sorgst dafür, dass der MakerSpace organisatorisch reibungslos läuft. So trägst du direkt dazu bei, dass unsere Community wachsen und ihre Ideen umsetzen kann.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Fachliche Führung des Front-Desk-Teams am Standort Garching, inklusive Schicht- und Einsatzplanung sowie Einarbeitung neuer Mitarbeitenden
  • Weiterentwicklung von Front-Desk-Prozessen und -Standards, etwa Servicekatalog, tägliche Abläufe und Automatisierungen
  • Erste Anlaufstelle für Mitglieder, Interessierte und Gäste bei Fragen und Anliegen sowie Übernahme allgemeiner Office- und Empfangsaufgaben im Bereich Front Desk
  • Verantwortung für die Mitgliederverwaltung sowie die Abwicklung von Zahlungen für Mitgliedschaften, Kurse und Material über Nexudus
  • Organisation der komplexen Kursabläufe, inklusive Vorbereitung der Kursunterlagen und Abstimmung mit Trainer:innen
  • Proaktives Management der Schnittstellenfunktion für klaren Informationsfluss & professionelle Zusammenarbeit zwischen: Front-Desk-Team des Munich Urban Colab, MakerSpace München, Werkstatt-Crew, Eventteam sowie zur UnternehmerTUM-Zentrale.
  • Regelmäßiger Austausch mit dem Führungsteam (Jour Fixe, Weekly Operations) sowie Reporting zum Front-Desk-Betrieb
  • Mitgestaltung einer einladenden und sicheren Atmosphäre für die gesamte Community

Dein Profil

Das bringst du mit:

  • Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrung am Empfang, im Front Office oder in einer vergleichbaren serviceorientierten Rolle mit - idealerweise aus der Hotelerie - inklusive erster Führungserfahrung
  • Du hast bereits ein Team koordiniert oder eingearbeitet, z.B. im Rahmen von Schichtplanung
  • Du bist bereit min. einmal wöchentlich zum Standort München (Munich Urban Colab) zu kommen
  • Du bist als erste Anlaufstelle persönlich vor Ort im MakerSpace Garching für unsere Community da und bringst die Bereitschaft für Schicht- und Wochenendarbeit mit
  • Du bist offen für den Einsatz von KI-Tools und hast Lust, Front-Desk-Prozesse damit weiterzuentwickeln
  • Du bist ein Organisationstalent und hast Freude daran, mehrere Aufgaben gleichzeitig im Blick zu behalten
  • Du arbeitest sicher mit MS Office
  • Du kommunizierst sicher auf Deutsch und Englisch, in Wort und Schrift

  • Erfahrung mit Mitgliederverwaltungssystemen wie Nexudus
  • Interesse an Making, Prototyping oder der Start-up-Szene
  • Freude daran, dich schnell in neue Tools und Arbeitsweisen einzuarbeiten
