En UTEC – Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología, nos encontramos en la búsqueda del Director(a) del Departamento Académico de Ingeniería Civil y Ambiental, quien tendrá el reto de liderar la estrategia académica, fortalecer la investigación y potenciar el desarrollo del cuerpo docente en una de las áreas clave de la universidad.

¿Cuáles serán tus retos?

  • Diseñar y ejecutar el plan estratégico académico del departamento a corto y largo plazo.
  • Impulsar iniciativas que fortalezcan la calidad educativa y los resultados de aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
  • Supervisar el diseño, actualización y evaluación de los planes de estudio.
  • Asegurar la alineación curricular con estándares internacionales y tendencias del sector.
  • Implementar procesos de mejora continua en las carreras del departamento.
  • Liderar el reclutamiento, desarrollo y evaluación del cuerpo docente.
  • Fortalecer las líneas de investigación y la producción académica del departamento.
  • Liderar procesos de acreditación y aseguramiento de la calidad académica.
  • Supervisar la planificación académica (horarios, asignación docente y programación de laboratorios).
  • Representar al departamento ante áreas internas, organismos externos y socios académicos, asegurando una gestión eficiente de recursos.

¿Qué buscamos?

  • Doctorado (PhD) en Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Ambiental o disciplinas afines.
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 a 5 años en liderazgo académico o gestión universitaria, así como experiencia docente en educación superior
  • Trayectoria en investigación y publicaciones académicas.
  • Conocimiento o experiencia en áreas como: Gestión de la construcción, Ingeniería de la construcción, Innovación en la construcción, Tecnologías emergentes aplicadas a la construcción (BIM, gemelos digitales, analítica de datos, IA, automatización, AR/VR)
