En la Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología UTEC Posgrado nos encontramos en búsqueda de un/una Docente Tiempo Parcial - Curso: Big Data

¿Qué harás?

  • Estarás a cargo del dictado del curso Big Data, esencial para el desarrollo de soluciones de analítica y ciencia de datos a gran escala, aprovechando arquitecturas distribuidas y tecnologías modernas de procesamiento masivo de información.
  • Diseñarás, prepararás y actualizarás el material de clases, alineado con las mejores prácticas y herramientas del ecosistema Big Data.
  • Evaluarás el desempeño de los estudiantes mediante prácticas, proyectos aplicados y evaluaciones por competencias.
  • Guiarás a los estudiantes en la implementación de pipelines de datos, integración de fuentes heterogéneas y ejecución de análisis sobre entornos distribuidos.

¿Qué buscamos? Conocimientos Técnicos:

  • Fundamentos de Big Data: ecosistema Hadoop, procesamiento distribuido, conceptos de escalabilidad, partición y tolerancia a fallos.
  • Procesamiento de datos: experiencia con Spark, Hive, Pig, y frameworks de procesamiento por lotes y en tiempo real.
  • Almacenamiento y manejo de datos: bases de datos NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, HBase), almacenamiento distribuido (HDFS, S3, Delta Lake).
  • Arquitecturas y pipelines de datos: diseño e implementación de ETL/ELT, integración con herramientas de orquestación como Airflow
  • Cloud & DevOps: despliegue de soluciones Big Data en la nube (AWS EMR, GCP Dataproc, Azure HDInsight) y uso de contenedores con Docker y Kubernetes.
  • Analítica y Machine Learning sobre Big Data: uso de frameworks como MLlib, TensorFlow on Spark, o PySpark ML para análisis predictivo a escala.

Deseables:

  • Experiencia previa en docencia universitaria o de posgrado.
  • Participación en proyectos de investigación o desarrollo aplicados a analítica de datos o ingeniería de datos.
  • Experiencia en la implementación de soluciones de Big Data en entornos reales (empresariales o industriales).
  • Conocimiento de infraestructura moderna de datos: Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Lakehouses y herramientas de gobernanza de datos.
