Ben jij een creatieve en gepassioneerde kok die houdt van variatie in de keuken? Voor het prachtig gerenoveerde TheaterHotel De Oranjerie in hartje Roermond zoeken wij een zelfstandig werkend kok die samen met ons keukenteam elke dag zorgt voor een culinaire smaakbeleving die onze gasten niet snel vergeten.

Met 146 luxe kamers, 12 multifunctionele vergader- en congreszalen, een sfeervol grand café, een spectaculair live-cookingbuffet, een stijlvol à-la-carterestaurant én een groot theater, bieden wij jou een dynamische en veelzijdige werkplek waar geen dag hetzelfde is.

Bij TheaterHotel De Oranjerie doen we er alles aan om onze gasten én collega’s met een glimlach naar huis te laten gaan. Daar speel jij als Zelfstandig Werkend Kok een belangrijke rol in!

Dit ga je doen

Als zelfstandig werkend kok ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de (voor)bereiding van gerechten in onze restaurants. Met zorg en aandacht bewaak je smaak, kwaliteit en continuïteit, terwijl je werkt met dagverse ingrediënten en bewust omgaat met producten om voedselverspilling te minimaliseren. Zo draag je bij aan een onvergetelijke culinaire ervaring voor onze gasten én aan een duurzame keuken.

Concreet betekent dit dat jij:

  • Werkt in ons buffet- of à-la-carterestaurant en bij congressen en events.
  • Zelfstandig gerechten bereidt volgens recept en planning.
  • Zorgt voor een perfecte mise-en-place.
  • Nieuwe menu-ideeën en specials aandraagt en uitprobeert.
  • De kwaliteit, continuïteit, versheid en presentatie van gerechten bewaakt.
  • Voedselverspilling minimaliseert en het gebruik van grondstoffen optimaliseert.
  • Hygiëne- en veiligheidsvoorschriften (HACCP) strikt naleeft.
  • Voorraad en bestellingen signaleert en doorgeeft.
  • Meedenkt over verbeteringen in werkprocessen en efficiëntie.
  • Af en toe in contact staat met gasten tijdens live cooking of speciale events.

  • Je hebt ervaring als zelfstandig werkend kok of in een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Je hebt passie voor koken en een creatieve, flexibele instelling.
  • Je kunt goed zelfstandig én in teamverband werken.
  • Je bent kwaliteitsbewust en beschikt over uitstekende smaakpapillen.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en houdt het hoofd koel tijdens piekmomenten.
  • Je bent flexibel inzetbaar, ook in avonden en weekenden.
  • Je bent enthousiast en positief ingesteld
  • Je hebt kennis van HACCP en werkt netjes en georganiseerd.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands; extra talen zijn mooi meegenomen maar geen vereiste.
