The posting

Step into a role where commercial insight meets strategic impact. If you are passionate about understanding customer needs, identifying new growth opportunities and shaping the future of one of the most important product categories in VELUX, you could be our next Commercial Product Manager.

Meet your future team

You will join the Sloped Roof Windows Category team at our Head Office in Hørsholm. The team plays a central role in shaping the future of our largest and most important product category, working at the intersection of customer needs, innovation, strategy and commercial performance.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and regional organisations around the world. Together, we translate market opportunities and customer insights into product portfolio decisions that drive sustainable and profitable growth.

The team is characterised by a high level of ambition, an informal and collaborative culture, and a shared commitment to creating meaningful business impact.

What we offer

This is not a traditional product management role focused on maintaining an existing portfolio. Instead, you will play a key role in identifying where future growth will come from, shaping strategic choices and mobilising the organisation to bring them to life.

You will gain exposure across our international business, collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence decisions with significant commercial impact. In return, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally while helping shape the future of healthy, comfortable and sustainable living.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Identify and develop growth opportunities across products, solutions, customer segments and markets
  • Translate customer, market and commercial insights into portfolio recommendations and compelling business cases
  • Strengthen value propositions, positioning, pricing and category differentiation to improve commercial performance
  • Drive portfolio priorities, product launches and strategic category initiatives in close collaboration with regional and functional stakeholders

You should expect some travel, both within Denmark and internationally, to engage with customers, markets and colleagues across our global organisation.

What you will bring

You are commercially minded, customer-focused and motivated by complex business challenges. You enjoy connecting strategic thinking with practical execution and thrive in environments where collaboration, influence and analytical thinking are key to success.

You know how to turn insights into action, create alignment among diverse stakeholders and move initiatives forward. Most importantly, you are motivated by delivering meaningful business results and helping shape the future direction of a category.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Bring experience from product management, category management, business development, commercial strategy or a comparable role, ideally within an international organisation
  • Have strong commercial and analytical capabilities and can build robust business cases based on data, customer understanding and sound judgement
  • Are skilled at influencing decisions, communicating recommendations clearly and creating alignment across functions and organisational levels
  • Work in a structured and proactive manner, balancing multiple priorities while driving initiatives forward with ownership and energy

Experience from building materials, construction, durable goods, consumer products or another product-oriented industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are equally interested in candidates who bring a fresh commercial perspective and can apply it successfully within our business.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
