Goede software begint bij kwaliteit. En daar speel jij als Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) een belangrijke rol in! Je tilt de kwaliteit van Meggsius Connect en onze andere digitale oplossingen naar een hoger niveau. Dat doe je niet alleen door geautomatiseerde tests te schrijven, maar ook door testframeworks, tooling en een slimme kwaliteitsaanpak te ontwikkelen. Zo help je ons ontwikkelteam om sneller betrouwbare software te leveren.

We willen onze testautomatisering verder professionaliseren en kwaliteitscontroles al vroeg in het ontwikkelproces integreren. Daar krijg jij alle ruimte en vrijheid voor! Samen met Software Engineers, DevOps en de System Engineer werk je aan webapplicaties, API’s, dataverwerking en gekoppelde systemen binnen Microsoft Azure. Softwarekwaliteit is een gezamenlijke verantwoordelijkheid. Developers blijven verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit en het testen van hun eigen werk. Jij neemt het technische voortouw in testautomatisering en helpt collega’s om betere tests te ontwikkelen en software te bouwen die makkelijker te testen is. Zo tillen jullie samen de kwaliteit van onze software naar een hoger niveau!

Jouw carrière

  • Een testaanpak gebaseerd op risico ontwikkelen, met oog voor heldere kwaliteitsafspraken;
  • Bouwen en verbeteren van onderhoudbare testframeworks en geautomatiseerde API-, integratie- en end-to-end tests;
  • Tests integreren in CI/CD-pipelines en testuitvoering en testdatabeheer automatiseren met DevOps;
  • Datakwaliteit bewaken en onderzoeken van falende tests en storingen;
  • Inzichtelijk maken van releasekwaliteit en restrisico’s op basis van (her)tests;
  • Developers begeleiden bij testontwerp, testbaarheid en testcode en structurele verbeteringen doorvoeren;
  • Door ontwikkelen van AI voor testontwerp, testcode, foutanalyse en testonderhoud - met kritische beoordeling van gegenereerde tests en verantwoorde opschaling.

Jouw talenten

  • Hbo werk- en denkniveau in informatica, software engineering of vergelijkbaar;
  • Een sterke achtergrond in softwareontwikkeling en ervaring met het bouwen van onderhoudbare software;
  • Ervaring met testautomatisering en het bouwen of onderhouden van testframeworks;
  • Ervaring met API-, integratie- en/of end-to-endtests en ervaring met Git en CI/CD;
  • Sterk analytisch vermogen: jij doorgrondt zelfstandig technische problemen en ontwikkelt structurele oplossingen;
  • Plezier in kennis delen en developers meenemen in testontwerp, testcode en kwaliteit;
  • Je communiceert goed in het Nederlands én Engels en werkt gemakkelijk met Engelstalige technische documentatie.
