Customer Service Representative

Department: Dispensaries Reports to: Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager Pay: $18 per hour Schedule: Availability Monday–Sunday, including some holidays, with shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm

Verdes Cannabis is looking for a dependable, friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our dispensary team. In this role, you’ll help clients feel welcome, answer questions and provide product recommendations based on their needs. Strong customer service, attention to detail and a willingness to keep learning are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome clients and provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service
  • Understand clients’ needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Answer questions and address concerns with care and professionalism
  • Stay current on products, company procedures and applicable New Mexico cannabis requirements
  • Process purchases, online orders, returns and exchanges accurately
  • Maintain accurate client records, inventory counts and cash drawers
  • Keep the sales floor and backstock organized and properly stocked
  • Use point-of-sale systems and online tools to support daily operations
  • Work collaboratively with your team and maintain reliable attendance
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in customer service, cash handling and inventory management
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate math and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and adapt in a busy environment
  • A dependable team player who takes initiative and follows through

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, this role requires the ability to:

  • Stand for extended periods, including 8–10-hour shifts on consecutive days
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, climb and reach
  • Work in confined spaces and communicate product information clearly
