Wholesale Field Account Manager

Location: New Mexico – Field-Based Compensation: $45,000 base salary with on-target earnings of $70,000 Travel: Approximately four days per week throughout New Mexico, including occasional overnight travel Reports to: Director of Wholesale

Position Summary

Verdes Cannabis is seeking a motivated Wholesale Field Account Manager to manage existing accounts, develop new business and grow sales throughout New Mexico.

This role represents Verdes Cannabis products and the Kiva Confections portfolio, including Camino gummies and Lost Farm edibles. The Account Manager will build relationships with dispensary owners, buyers, managers and budtenders while increasing product distribution and achieving revenue goals.

This is a field-based position requiring travel throughout New Mexico approximately four days per week. Reliable transportation is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales, revenue and distribution goals
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing wholesale accounts
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Conduct regular dispensary visits throughout New Mexico
  • Expand Kiva and Verdes product distribution within new and existing accounts
  • Coordinate promotions, product launches, trainings, merchandising and other sales-driving activities
  • Use sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and guide territory strategy
  • Maintain accurate account records, activities and follow-ups in HubSpot
  • Represent Verdes and Kiva at retail activations, trainings and industry events
  • Stay informed about competitor activity and cannabis market trends

Qualifications

  • At least three years of sales experience, preferably in cannabis, consumer packaged goods, spirits, wine or beer
  • Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage accounts, develop new business and grow revenue
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a statewide territory
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HubSpot or other CRM experience preferred
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to travel approximately four days per week, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds during events or retail visits

Compensation

This position offers a $45,000 base salary with on-target earnings of $70,000 when performance goals are achieved. Actual incentive compensation may vary based on individual performance and the applicable commission plan.
