The posting

We're building the AI Agent OS for Advisors. Financial advisors use Verlo to replace the patchwork of tools they hate. Our agents join their meetings, write their notes, update their CRM, and answer any question about any client instantly. Interest is outpacing our capacity to work it, and we need closers who can carry a firm from first demo to signature.

As an Account Executive at Verlo, you'll own the full cycle. You'll take leads throughout the entire sales process. Whether they're self-sourced or inbound, our AEs are working a high volume of quality leads at all times. You'll sell to solo advisors and to multi-advisor RIAs, and work in true team selling fashion with our technical team, customer success, Head of Sales and Executives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll run discovery that surfaces how a firm actually operates: tech stack, custodian, compliance posture, and where the week leaks time. You'll demo against those workflows rather than walking a feature tour. You'll scope technical requirements and manage multi-stakeholder cycles across advisors, operations leads, chief compliance officers, and firm partners. You'll keep the CRM clean and your forecast honest. You'll negotiate and close annual and multi-year agreements. You'll feed back what's landing and what's blocking so we keep sharpening the pitch and the roadmap. The goal is simple: close firms that are a great fit for Verlo.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3+ years closing B2B SaaS as a full-cycle AE. You've carried quota and hit it consistently, and you can walk through specific deals you won and lost

- Comfortable selling to regulated buyers. Advisors are fiduciaries - they'll press you on data handling, retention, and integrations, and you'll answer straight rather than deflect

- You run discovery that goes past the pitch.

- Willing to say "we don't do that yet." You know how to disclose a gap and keep the deal alive

- Strong written and verbal communication. A real share of this job is follow-up that actually advances a deal, and you'll be recording Looms and drafting proposals daily

- Curiosity about the product and the market. You'll learn advisor workflows well enough to be useful on a call, not just credible

- Resilient and coachable.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience selling into financial advisors, RIAs, or wealth management firms

- Familiarity with the wealthtech ecosystem

- Experience carrying a deal through a security or compliance review

- Background at an early-stage startup where you helped build the motion, not just follow it

- You've used AI tools in your own workflow and get why this market is about to change
