Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect with expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP IS-U to lead technical solution design, integration architecture, and application support for utility clients. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with clients, functional consultants, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP solutions.  Key Responsibilities 

Design and maintain SAP technical architecture across S/4HANA and SAP IS-U environments.   Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectural roadmaps.   Provide technical leadership for custom development, integrations, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.   Design and support integrations using APIs, IDocs, web services, SAP Integration Suite, and related middleware technologies.   Lead technical reviews, development standards, and governance activities to ensure solution quality and maintainability.   Support production environments by troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.   Collaborate with clients and project teams on upgrades, transformations, and continuous improvement initiatives.   Advise clients on SAP technology trends, S/4HANA innovations, and opportunities to improve business outcomes through new capabilities. 

Required Job Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.

5+ years of SAP technical experience, including 3+ years supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.  

Experience supporting SAP IS-U solutions within utility organizations.  

Strong knowledge of:  

ABAP Development 

CDS Views and OData Services 

SAP Fiori and Gateway 

APIs, Web Services, and SAP Integration technologies 

SAP transport management and development lifecycle processes 

Experience troubleshooting complex SAP application and integration issues.  

Strong communication and client-facing skills. 

 Preferred Qualifications 

Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.  

Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and RISE with SAP.  

Knowledge of SAP Basis concepts, including transports, upgrades, and landscape management.  

SAP certification in S/4HANA, SAP Technology, or related disciplines.  

Utility industry experience supporting electric, gas, or water providers.
