The posting

Vetaphone is the Danish company behind the invention of corona treatment back in 1951, and for more than seven decades the family-owned business has continued to set the standard within corona and plasma surface treatment technology. From its headquarters in Kolding, Vetaphone develops advanced, reliable systems that ensure optimal adhesion, print quality and production efficiency for customers in the print, packaging, converting and extrusion industries – and today the company is represented in more than 60 countries around the world. To strengthen the international sales organisation, we are now looking for a technically strong and commercially minded:

Technical and commercial sales support with close customer dialogue

As Technical Sales Manager, you become one of the key technical and commercial support behind Vetaphone’s global sales team, working closely with Area Sales Managers and agents to solve real production challenges where surface treatment performance impacts efficiency, quality and compliance. You get a broad and technically demanding role, where you guide projects from the very first customer dialogue and solution design through to quotation, negotiation and handover to the internal project department.

It is natural for you to drive technically complex, project-based sales to OEMs and end customers, and to step in as technical sales lead on selected projects in close cooperation with Area Sales Managers, agents and internal specialists. You analyse customer applications, production processes and requirements to define the optimal surface treatment solution, and you prepare and present technical and commercial proposals that communicate value, performance and compliance in a way customers understand and trust.

You support OEM customers with system integration, specification and application know-how, and build long-term customer relationships based on trust, expertise and results. At the same time, you contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building across the sales organisation and agent network, and you stay on top of market trends, customer needs and competitive developments – with regular international travel to customers, OEM partners and key industry events.

In the selection process, we will particularly emphasise:

  • A solid technical background, preferably within mechanical and/or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience with consultative, project-based B2B sales of technical systems or solutions
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
  • A structured and self-driven approach, combined with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort working independently in an international, matrix-based organisation
  • Fluent in Danish and excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally approx. 50-70 days per year

The ideal candidate has a solid technical foundation combined with a genuine sales flair, and thrives in a role where every project brings a new technical puzzle to solve. Maybe you already work in a similar technical sales role today, or you come from an engineering or application background and are ready to take the step into a more commercial, customer-facing career.

In return, you become part of a global technology leader with a strong market position, working closely with experienced technical and commercial colleagues on high-value international projects – with good opportunities for professional development within a specialised, knowledge-driven organisation.

The role is based at Vetaphone’s headquarters in Kolding, Denmark, combined with the international travel the role calls for.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
