The posting

Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: PRN -12hr shifts

Pay Range: $49.00/HR–$50.25/HR Location: Grants Pass, OR at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

PRN Opportunities Available | 1–2 shifts per week required Weekend availability required: 2 weekend shifts per month Please note: PRN shifts are not guaranteed and flexibility is required.

We are looking for compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our supportive team. If you’re passionate about providing high-quality care, building meaningful relationships with residents, and making a positive impact every day, we’d love to have you join us!

What You’ll Do

As an RN, you will play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care to our residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing resident needs and providing appropriate nursing care.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
  • Monitoring resident conditions and responding appropriately to changes in health status.
  • Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Supervising CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing personnel in the delivery of resident care.
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Following all applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies, and standards of nursing practice.
  • Advocating for resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
  • Previous nursing experience preferred.
  • Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing assistants, LPNs, and other care team members.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for caring for others and improving residents’ quality of life.
  • Ability and willingness to follow state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
  • Availability to work 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts per month is required.
  • Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
